Guinness Marmite
v Traditional Marmite
I found the Guinness version
to be a little softer in flavour with chocolate notes.
(Guinness is a heavily advertised
"keg" beer, its distinctive appearance and smooth texture are not repeated
in any strong flavour in the "draught" version, although bottled Guinness
has in the past been naturally conditioned and flavoursome. It is common
to be told "it tastes different in Ireland", while I can see no reason
why this should be true, personal experience says the opposite, no doubt
it's all in the mind). |
